Accessibility statement
Index 6
Last updated: 1 November 2026.
La Daurada is committed to making its websites (https://ladaurada.com and the online shop https://shop.ladaurada.com) accessible in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services, transposed into Spanish law by Law 11/2023 of 8 May, and with standard EN 301 549, which refers to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
Compliance status
These websites are partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Partially compliant” means that most of the sites meet the required level, but there are specific exceptions, which are listed below.
The online shop
This statement also covers the online shop, https://shop.ladaurada.com, which used to have its own. The exceptions that only affect the shop are the MONEI payment form and the PDF gift vouchers, explained under “Non-accessible content”. Everything else on this page applies to it in the same way.
Non-accessible content
The following content is not fully accessible at present:
- Shop payment form. Payment is processed through the MONEI gateway, which is embedded in a frame (iframe) served by the provider. Its content and behaviour are outside our control, so we cannot guarantee its level of accessibility.
- PDF gift vouchers. The vouchers sent by email are generated as PDFs and have not been audited against the accessible documents standard (PDF/UA). If you need the content of a voucher in another format, write to us and we will send it to you.
- Restaurant bookings. The booking form is the CoverManager module, embedded in a frame (iframe) served by the provider. We do not control its design or behaviour. If you have any difficulty booking, call us on +34 938 159 820.
- Ticket purchases. Tickets are bought on the Fourvenues website, an external platform. Our tickets page is accessible, but the purchase process that opens afterwards is outside our control.
- Content from other services. Security check screens from our network provider may occasionally appear. We do not control their design.
Measures taken
- All text and interface component contrasts have been reviewed so that they reach at least the 4.5:1 ratio required by level AA, both at rest and on hover. On https://ladaurada.com, text reaches level AAA: 7:1, or 4.5:1 for large text, including when it sits on a photograph.
- https://ladaurada.com follows the device’s increased-contrast preference: when it is on, all text turns pure black and the overlays on photographs get darker. The shop also has a high-contrast mode that can be switched on from the footer.
- Both sites can be used with the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip straight to the main content.
- Animations are reduced when the operating system asks for it (reduced motion preference).
- All images have alternative text, and purely decorative ones are marked as such so that screen readers ignore them.
- Form error messages are associated with the corresponding field so that screen readers announce them.
- Both sites work in Catalan, Spanish and English, and each page declares its language so that screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- The restaurant menus are published as text on the page, not as images or PDF documents.
Preparation of this statement
The shop’s statement was prepared on 3 September 2026 through a self-assessment carried out by the team that maintains the site, reviewing the code and browsing it with the keyboard and with contrast-checking tools. On 30 September 2026 it was extended to https://ladaurada.com by reviewing its code, and on 23 October 2026 the contrast of every page there was measured, including text on photographs, on mobile and desktop. No independent external audit has been carried out yet.
