Sustainability at La Daurada
La Daurada · Sustainability
The Mediterranean inspires us. Looking after it is up to all of us.
At La Daurada we are lucky enough to enjoy the sea every day. And we believe that enjoying this place also means taking care of it.
That is why we keep making small changes to the way we work: more conscious decisions, better habits and new ways of reducing our impact. We know there is still a long way to go, but we also know that every step counts.
Solar energy
Solar panels: today’s output and the last 30 days
We generate energy with our own solar panels. Here is the real output for today and for the last 30 days.
- Today so far
- 196.4 kWh
- Last 30 days
- 5,524 kWh
- CO₂ avoided in 30 days
- ≈ 476 kg
- Equivalent to the CO₂ absorbed in a year by
- ≈ 22 trees
What they have produced in 30 days could cover the electricity use of ≈ 19 homes for a month.

Real data from our panels. The CO₂ figure is an estimate based on Red Eléctrica’s emission factor for the mainland grid; the trees, on the CO₂ that one tree absorbs in a year. The homes, using the average electricity consumption of a household in Spain: about 3,500 kWh a year. Latest data: 1/11, 17:50.
Small changes that add up
The improvements we are working on and what we were already doing, without big promises.
