A new restaurant menu: cooking with sea and fire
Chef Diego Carvajal launches La Daurada’s 2026–2027 menu, with new starters, rice dishes and desserts, served on new designer tableware.
1 November 2026

La Daurada’s restaurant has a new menu. The 2026–2027 menu, “Cooking with sea and fire”, is an exclusive menu created by our chef, Diego Carvajal: it keeps the dishes you ask for most and adds new ones to every section, from starters to desserts.
New dishes deserve a fine table, so we are also introducing new designer tableware to go with them.

Starters and dishes from the garden
New among the starters is a smoked Russian salad, and from the garden come xató de Vilanova, a local salad with xató sauce, and a confit tomato salad with tuna belly and fried garlic. La Daurada patatas bravas, crispy pig’s ear, the kimchi and tuna sashimi croquette, salt cod fritters, Vilanova red prawns and Gillardeau oysters are still on the menu.
Two new rice dishes
Rice dishes, our speciality, gain two new additions: cuttlefish and artichoke rice with squid ink aioli, and parellada rice with monkfish and red prawn. Red prawn rice, lobster rice (dry or creamy), black rice, creamy rice with baby langoustines and toasted noodles with cuttlefish are still there, among others. All are for a minimum of two people.
Meat and fish
For meat, the Iberian pork presa now comes with parmentier and a reduction, and the beef rib steak weighs 550 grams. Salt-baked sea bass and gilt-head bream, turbot with garlic sofrito and baker’s potatoes, monkfish suquet and fish & chips all stay.
New desserts
All the desserts are new, except the ice creams:
- 100% chocolate, hazelnut and coffee.
- Croissant filled with honey and mató (fresh cheese).
- Confit pear with vanilla cream and almonds.
- La Daurada tiramisu.
- White chocolate, rosemary and orange.

Allergens and bookings
You can read the full menu on the website, in Catalan, Spanish and English, with the allergens in each dish. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please tell our team before ordering.
The restaurant is open all year round by the sea, on the Moll de Ponent in Vilanova i la Geltrú. Book a table and come and try the new menu.
